If you love interior design and keep up-to-date with the latest decor trends then you will be familiar with the phrase ‘Hygge’ (pronounced hue-gah) . However, if you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what we’re on about then fear not, we forgive you and hopefuly this blog will bring you up to speed.

The best way for us to describe "Hygge" is to tell you that it isn't a trend, it's a way of life. Inspired by the beautiful Scandinavian way of everyday enjoyment. We urge you to Hygge your home and embrace the cosiest trend of room décor we have seen for a while.

Recognised for celebrating everyday special moments, Hygge represents everything we love about the colder seasons. From enjoying mulled wine with friends over a garden fire pit, to simply lighting a candle and laying on a sheepskin rug with a loved one, Hygge is a little bit of all of us and those unexpected evenings we cherish the most.

I for one love nothing more than lighting a number of candles outside, wrapping up in a faux fur throw and enjoying a bottle of wine (or 2!) with my best friend underneath the stars.

Making your home a cosy haven will ensure you too can make memorable moments with friends, family, a loved one, or all together at the same time.
